Three Quick Things

*
One: I'm taking off for a summer trip to Yellowstone - won't be back till the week of the 20th. I hope to get some writing done on the drive and mixed in with the hiking. I understand Yellowstone is a pretty inspiring place. Will miss you guys!

Two: Sometimes I mess up and say the wrong thing. If you know what I'm talking about, I'm sorry. If you don't know what I'm talking about, then skip on to number three...

Three: my pal Amy is hosting a cool blog party where she is donating money to a super writing related cause. $1 for every new follower of her blog up to $100. Click over and check it out. Her first-and-fantastic book is coming out next year and she is worth knowing.

Happy writing!

I think I might know what you're talking about... but it's okay, Tess. You were very nice and diplomatic in what you said if I'm thinking of what you're thinking of.

Have an awesome time on your trip!!! Please be safe and write tons.

Three, I'll check out Amy's site. Thanks!

Yay for Yellowstone. I haven't been there in some time but I've had fabulous trips there (involving close up with bears and moose, by the way). It's truly an amazing landscape that reminds me that this planet is part of space, still on fire and changing.
Have a wonderful time.

Have fun! I haven't been to yellowstone since I was a kid, but it always looks amazing on TV. Hope you get some inspiration and relaxation!

Ok, now I'm just dying to know what you said. Could I be any nosier???

Anyways, have a fab trip! FYI, we a few carniverous birds circling these parts too, but it doesn't look like any landing will be happening anytime soon. Freaking conferences.

Tess, I know what you're saying & feel it's partly my fault that you feel this way. In any case, you are NOT a screw-up; you were just being honest, which I definitely appreciate. You have nothing to be sorry about. (In case anyone is wondering what the heck we're talking about, please see the comments from my blog post on 7/9/09.)

You are a GREAT blogging friend; there is nothing to apologize for. Everyone has a right to their own opinion, and I do respect yours.

Have a safe and fun-filled trip to Yellowstone; sounds like an awesome place! You'll be missed around the blogosphere but I do hope you'll get LOTS of writing done on such an inspiring landscape!

Have a great time! I can't imagine that Yellowstone would be anything but inspiring. I'd love to be able to visit.

I'm getting ready to go on a trip of my own (Bosnia!). I'm so excited. I had to share with all this talk of travel. : )
