Festival of Colors!

Today was the Hare Krishna Holi Festival of Colors...a celebration of spring! Here is part of our group "before". I'm in the black hat.

Here is a fantastic shot of "during"....you are looking at people throwing colored chalk in the air. There was music, food, dancing...ah, what a morning. That is my oldest daughter w/ the orange shirt and arm extended.

And here's a quick "after" shot

Happy, happy spring!!!!!

Grrreat photo! Especially the after! A couple of days ago The Washington (D.C.) Post ran a front page photo of an 'after' participant at a local celebration. I've never had the opportunity to attend one. But it looks like a lot of fun!

I need to drag my family next year. Or maybe just go with you. Since I saw everyone's pictures last spring, I've wanted to go, but it didn't work out that way.

That was really cool, Tess! I wish I could have been there!

Thanks, all - it was fun. And, Paige, we'd love for your family to join us next year. It is always more fun with friends!

Fun! My sister and mom were in India for this one year. They were very colorful, too, by the end of it. :)

Happy spring!

Tess, I'm laughing at myself (see, I told my husband, my brain is fried!) The brain that's not working thought there was a group by the same bare knuckles name, LOL! Have a great evening, Girl!

that is actually a brilliant name for a critique and/or editing group! Glad I'm not the only one who has moments like that :D

I love that you do the festival of colors. I wished I'd gone so bad! A friend of mine did and she crowd surfed and got green dust in her eyes but she LOVED it, too!
