There was a time when this cape hit him at the ankles. He'd toddle around this couch, cape flapping behind him, asking for more apple juice in his sippy cup.
.
"Ju!" he'd say, holding the cup up above his head.
.
I would dutifully refill the cup and off he'd go - running again.

We've just moved and I found the box of pictures I had been waiting to put in albums since the Monster was a baby. I put them in the albums and cried the whole time. She'll never wear the colander on her head again, or that yellow shirt with the big daisy on it. It's so sad to watch them grow up.
Well, the spirit's still there. But I know what you mean, my little guy is growing up too fast.
They do grow so fast! My daughter liked to have 'pieces of lemonade'. Love the language kids create :)
Awwwwwww, so cute! How fast they grow up. I'll bet it made your day to see him in that cape, doing that. Flash-backs and memory lane time!!!
thanks for commiserating with this mom who feels so melancholy at the thought of her little ones growing up - it helps to have undertanding friends :)
*warm fuzzies* :)
I kind of melted seeing this. My son's about the same age. How do they get so big so fast?

Awwww! So sweet! I love it! I hug my little boys every chance I get. They just got new capes last week. And they are Super J and Super B! They love them and laugh, laugh, laugh as they fly though the house wearing them!!
