Mad Lib Friday

Pop over to the Class of 2k11 for a fun mad lib game. All players (play along in the comments) are entered to win a $10 gift card to B&N/Amazon/Indiebound!

Free stuff and a game to boot!

Question:
What are you planning for this weekend? We're trying a new restaurant that is getting great reviews in the city and then I'm gluing my hiney to the chair for some WIP progress. Wish me luck!

My husband and my sons are going to the Chief's playoff game in the snow and freezing cold. My daughter and I will be watching it in front of the fire with hot chocolate. :)

Susan: this image is priceless. My hubby goes out in the freezing weather for stuff like that too but it's not for me. I'm content to follow your path on this one. Have a great weekend!

I haven't checked out the website, yet, that hosts all our personal info. There is no such thing as privacy anymore. I'll check out your Mad lib. Enjoy the restaurant. I'll be working on my play this weekend.

My plan is to sit down and read, write some more of my WIP, spend some time with the boys and enjoy a relaxing weekend.

What will actually happen is the two youngest will argue and shout; the eldest will wonder what's for dinner at 9am and repeat the question several times; I'll get four lines into a book (reading or writing) and have to ask people to be quiet or break up a fight/argument; I will then have a nervous breakdown by 10am Sunday.

Either that or I'll find a friendly slaver and sell all three of them.

Tess, A Northern Light is one of my favorite books. In fact, I liked how she started out in the kitchen taking care of everyone - like in my book. My strength is dialogue, so I'll work on plays for a while. Thanks for your encouragement. I'm eagerly anticipating your book release!

Martin: have you been peeking in my windows? How do you know these facts about my childrens behavior? ah...some things are universal. And, tell your eldest that you're having "fix-your-owni" (sounds like macaroni) for dinner. That's my favorite meal!

Mary: oh, good...and, if dialogue is your strength then characterization must be too...an excellent quality. happy weekend!

Good luck, Tess!

The new restaurant sounds awesome. I'm wanting to branch out with eateries, too.

Sounds fun. I want to go to the temple, go out to eat, maybe do some writing. Have a great weekend!

Oh out to eat. Dare to dream. Sounds awesome. We are doing a lot of nothing this weekend and I'm kinda looking forward to that b/c we have three birthday parties coming up.

Funny thing about Mad Libs. It was the only thing I could laugh at while driving through the blizzard a few weeks ago and I laughed very. Very. Hard.

Janna: we've been trying new places and it's been way fun.

Angie: that sounds like a perfect weekend.

Wendy: might you have little ones? I remember when it was so hard to get out...now I miss peanut butter kisses and those amazing cuddle sessions. *sigh*

It's Christopher's birthday Monday, so the celebrations commence today. :) Eating out today, family dinners with cake and all the trimmings on Sunday and Monday. New rolls of fat on Robyn due to cake, etc. *sigh*

But I'm so thankful for my honey. :)

Still querying madly. (((hugs)))

My hiney is glued to the couch to work on my WIP all weekend, too! Aside from quick blog/e-mails breaks, I'm not doing anything else. Good luck with yours!
