Free Stuff Friday

*
Welcome to Free Stuff Friday! Today, I want to honor YOU. My writing, book loving, wisdom sharing, blogging friends.

I have been so blessed on this journey to interact with your fabulosity.

So, I'm giving away some of my favorite writing and editing tools.

starting with this:

It's a handy dandy post it pen. You can make notes on your manuscript and yank out a post it to mark the page all with the same tool. I love these babies!

And, one of these:

a package of post it tabs. The ones I'm offering are in a pack of four and they are a must have for those in depth editing sessions.

And, last but not least, one of these:
a package of post it page markers. The ones I'm offering are a three pack with cheery flowers on one end. Beautious.

TO ENTER: just leave a comment. Any old thing will do. Tell me what your weekend plans are ... what you had for dinner last night ... or just say hey. I'll draw three random names Sunday night and post our winners on Monday. Good luck and happy weekend!!

Here's an any old comment about being sick, so no plans for the weekend and I had meatloaf for dinner, it helped!

Happy Friday, Tess! Ooh--I had chili! Yum!

Hello! Happy Friday! I'm off to have dinner with friends - will be nice.

Hi Tess (sounds strange to call you that but since I am a grown up now (^_^) it seems appropriate.)

All I wanna say is: TGIF!(in 1 hour, 22 min. that is . . .)

Jackee said...

Yay! In the words of the great Liz Lemon: "I want to go to there!"

And Chicken Parmesana, my style. Because I only like the way *I* make it. (Hee, hee.)

sign me up! I love that pen. I don't think we have them in Australia. Post it pens I mean. We do have pens down here, LOL!

Well how fun is that...writing tools! You knew I'd be by.
I have to crunch through rewriting a whole chapter today.

Hey! I had chicken for dinner last night. And the weekend plans...not quite sure yet.
Have a great weekend!

Hey from me too! I love post-it products. I swear, they had to have been created by other writers. What a wonderful idea to give away them as prizes. You're a genius.

If my stomach holds together (kids have been sick and I may be having phantom symptoms--not sure), I would like to write 500k today, and start working on web-site for first book. Week-end plans are to skip over to the nature park with the kids and walk the creek, and maybe go see Princess and the Frog at the mall.

Post-Its!
Sorry, if that's a little weird, but I really like Post-Its. They are useful and awesome.

You are too fun!!
No real weekend plans, except I am watching one of my neighbor's little girls, which has MY little girl very happy. Oh, and I'm planning a Disney World trip right now, too!

I don't want to be entered(although I really love all office supplies and post-its are especially fun, making me feel organized!), I just want to leave an old comment about how generous you are. Thanks, Tess.

Tomorrow I'm going to the groundbreaking for our building's expansion into a stake center. Exciting. Post-It should send you some kick backs.

OMG, I love Post-its! What a sweet contest, Tess!

Have a great weekend. I'm going to be cleaning my house. Yay! ;)

Davin Malasarn said...

Last night I baked nine brownie muffins, but I only ate two.

Does that work for a comment?

Sharon K. Mayhew said...

How fun is that! Did the Post-It fairie visit your house?

We're going to pick up one last piece of furniture we ordered back in September, do a little shopping, and go to a college basketball game.

PS...Did you see the special WAD section on my blog? I'll put Diana's link on when she has it up and running. :)
Have a great one, Tess. :)

My weekend plans are to finally meet you in person! Woo-hoo! I also might trek it up to my parents cabin and go snowmobiling but that is less certain.

Right now I'm cleaning out my mudroom, which in turn makes my kitchen a disaster. Why am I doing this? Ugh. I think I'll take the kids swimming today.

Can't wait to see you tonight!

Hey! And I had a hamburger for dinner last night. And I'm going to be working at my daughter's drill team competition all weekend. How's that for a comment? Have a great weekend!

Jonathan: I love meatloaf - it reminds me of love and grandma and home....

Kristen: I'm surprised at how fun it is to learn of people's dinners last night. Wierd, I know. But I love chili, too. I don't make it much cuz the kids get all picky about cooked tomatoes and start whining. *sigh*

Michelle: that does sound fun!

Courtnie: Welcome friend! So glad you came by and YES you are all grown up now. A beautiful mom with adorable kiddos. It's wonderful to see :D

Jackee: now I'm curious how you make your chicken parmasene. do you share recipes?

Tabitha: your comment made me giggle - thanks :D

Wendy: sounds like you need these! Good luck in the drawing!!

PJ: maybe a nap?? that would be nice...

Linda: a writers must, for certain

Tina: ah, you are sooo sweet.

lotusgirl: that's good news -- church is growing there, eh?

Tere: I'm supposed to be cleaning my house right this very minute but...er....

Davin: HA! I laughed out loud. So was that dinner? And what are your plans for the other seven? that's my kind of weekend = chocolate based.

Sharon: I love getting new things for the house..what is the furniture piece? And, hope your team wins the game. :)

Beth: hehehe...we writers have simple pleasures.

Angie: me too!

LT: hooray - you're coming :D :D :D :D

Susan: it's a perfect comment. Hope she wins the blue ribbon!

Post-Its are the greatest invention ever. I heard they were invented by a member of a choir who saw a need to mark his pages, but didn't want to mar the music.

It's funny how many wrote about food. I'm eating an English muffin right now with peanut butter.

Dinner last night: home grilled cheese burgers on panini bread. Delightful, as is this giveaway!

Davin Malasarn said...

Tess, my plan for the other brownie muffins is to send them to the trash can. Of course, that was my plan, but they are still sitting on the counter. Sometimes I'm just not strong enough.

Cindy R. Wilson said...

Oooh, I love editing goodies!

My plan for this weekend is to go to a comedy show for both my sister's birthdays. I'm really looking forward to it because I could use some laughter in my life right about now.

You are such a sweetheart! What a wonderful idea. I have a critique group meeting in the morning, and then my hubby and I have to put up a silt fence around an area of our yard that we are hoping to level. Sunday we plan to go to church and then if my children will behave, I hope to grab a nap Sunday afternoon! I hope you have a fabulous weekend, and I sure do appreciate all your sweet comments on my blog!

Robyn Campbell said...

Hey Tess! I had meatloaf with creamed corn (creamed by moi) and potatoes. Bread too. I hope you have a wonderful weekend.

I'm still looking up agents. Yeah!

Crystal said...

Hi Tess! Last night we had red rice and beans and breaded chicken wingettes (courtesy of Joe, my husband). Tonight, though, it was Chinese take-out: sesame chicken & shrimp fried rice. Plans for the weekend: selling Girl Scout cookies (for BOTH daughters this year), revising my MG, and reading (I just started The Help by K. Stockett and you're right, it IS good.)

Have a great weekend! :)

Sarah said...

Hi Tess! Oh, it's lovely to have you back! Weekend plans... I'm visiting my sister and getting my hair cut by someone who knows what to do with curly hair.

Yay!

Tess said...

Mary: really? a choir inspired thing? very interesting.

Terresa: I love a good cheeseburger :) mmmmm

Davin: what about pouring milk over one for breakfast? I've done that with cake before. sounds gross, but deceivingly tasty.

Cindy: man, I haven't been to a comedy show in forever - have fun and laugh some for me!

Amy: what is a silt fence? Sounds as if you are going to have a busy day!

Robyn: that's two for the meatloaf count. Yum. And, you cream your own corn? very impressive.

Crystal: I am a huge fan of red beans and rice. And, yes, I remember you saying your sweetie cooked. lucky you. Good luck getting anything done this weekend....The Help will suck all your time away cuz you won't be able to put it down. It's okay. Totally worth it.

Sarah: I have a dear friend who says you MUST go to a curly hair specialist (she has beautiful locks). Here's wishing you that perfect cut.

Carolyn V. said...

Tess, I loved meeting you last night (you are very cool! Your picture is even cool.) And look! You are having a contest! Good luck to everyone. Writing supplies rock! =)

Sarah said...

Tess, I'm now a believer in curly hair professionals. Oh. My. Word. She did a great job.

I want to tell you why I think this is an awesome giveaway. I am a middle school teacher. Last year for Christmas the administration of our school gave us the neatest littleholder with all sizes of post it notes. I heard all of the negative comments about how cheap the administration was etc. For me it was perfect. I teach remedial reading. For that slow reader I can divide a book into manageable pieces using the book marks tabs. I go through thousands of them every year. I had not even thought of using them for my own editing. Thanks.

Anita said...

I am so in love with Post-its...problem is, so are the kids...the little stickies are always disappearing and then end up in strange places.

Anyway, cool contest. Hope you're having a fun weekend.

Sherrie Petersen said...

You're so funny, Tess. We love Post Its in our house :)

I'm with my husband's family for our final Christmas celebration. The kids are having a Nerf war in the hallway and the men are watching football. Eighteen people, two bathrooms -- it's been a fun weekend!

What time Sunday night? I hope I'm not too late! My weekend plans were: Trivia Night on Saturday night (my team wasn't last place, but not far off); chaperoning the teen dance at our church on Friday night, so I could be blatantly ignored by my own son; and my youngest daughter's 10th birthday party today at an indoor rock climbing gym, during which I was attached by rope and harness to the party guests so they wouldn't fall off the wall (rather exhausting after two straight hours, but I'm thankful my hands aren't blistered!)
