All storms pass. Some just leave boatloads of yucky white stuff for you to deal with for seven months of the year.

Hope tomorrow's a sunshinier day!

Sigh. I hope so. I love how you rhymed junk and funk. Classic.

I promise it will pass. Probably sooner than you think.

It'll pass. One day at a time--the week's already halfway over!

All storms pass. Some are more blustery than others, but you are tough. You'll be standing when the sun streams through. Life is all about contrasts, without the dark, we wouldn't have the glory of the light.

I adore your poem. Really. It was so clever. Storm clouds are no fun (but seem to help me write better). Here's to hoping you make the most of your storm cloud and it will pass soon. :)

I think funks are a sucky, but necessary part of the process. It's impossible to survive in this business without funks. I think we need them to keep us humble and especially so we have entertaining "struggling author" stories to tell at book signings when we hit the NYT Bestseller's List and people call us an overnight success.

See? Necessary.

Yes, yes! It will pass. I just came out of a funk myself. I thought it would never end, but it did.

It will pass. :D I hope you get out of your funk soon! I came out of mine only last week.

It will.

And now, you have many more people wishing, hoping, praying for you as well.

It must. Sooner or later, it must. Until then, HIT CSA: Hang In There, Cool Stuff Ahead.

The sun will shine for you soon.

Sun always shines after rain. And you've heard of rainbows right? :)

Do I need to break into a chorus of, "Tomorrow" from Annie? Because I really hate that song. But it is true. You will feel better!

It will... someday... maybe! But, wow. What a beautiful storm cloud.

Even if the sucker didn't pass, you'd find a way to make it a good thing. Put your fingers to the keyboard and use your emotions to write some good stuff!

As my grandmothah always used to say, "This too, shall pass."

I promise it will. Just know you have a lot of support from your family, and your other family here in the blogosphere. (Also, if it cheers you up, someone found MY blog by searching "tess fingers", lol)

(hugs)

Ah ... it will. And sooner than you think. I'm sending you a mental ray of sunshine (that sounds so lame, but I'm really doing it).

Hey! We all have funked up times in our life. So we know where you're coming from.

You know the funk I have been goin' through with my kid, right?

There are many days when I want to throw the pillow and covers over my head and say,"Go away day!"

But when I look at him and see that he is alive, we're all alive, I drag myself outta bed and I realize that for now anyway, that is my hope.

*hugs* I'm praying for you Tess.

It will get better. And you'll look on this time and realize how much stronger it made you.

To hope and strength for my pal Tess. Cheers :)

I sooo feel this way sometimes. I call it my "ledge" moments. You know, when you're on the ledge and you're just ready to jump! Yeah, I get it. And yes, it passes. :)

It will! I hope you are able to find peace and rest in this tough time. Christ is there--He won't ever leave!

How drab the brightest days would be without the somber, mirky days to compare them to. I'll try to blow a breeze your way, my friend, to hasten the clouds away.

Tess, It will get better. You can do this...I think that is what you have told me on many occassions.

Take the day off tomorrow. Read for fun, bake, play dress-ups. Have a bit of fun, it'll help.

Sometimes it's good to stay in bed.

Cool picture! As far as storm clouds go, they always pass. Sometimes we just have to be a little patient. You're a talented writer and a great person, so buck up little camper. We love you!

Tess, sorry to come in so late: I've been a bit behind web-wise. Take care- take heart!- and know that we're thinking of you.

Actually... I read this post after Janet Reid pointed it out. Writer B so reminded me of you. And I promise I'm not saying this to cheer you up! I'd have posted it if you'd been having a magnificent day.

Nice little poem. I love it, and I've been right there with you.

Yes, it will pass. I've taken some days off at work, because of illness, but now I am on the mend. Guess what, though; now my daughter is quite sick. Hopefully it is not H1N1.

All the good and bad seems to come and go. Sticking together with family and taking care of each other is what it's all about though, right?

Thanks for the comment last week.

Hi, Tess.
Have you ever been in an airplane and seen the storm below you? That happened when I went to see Niki in Texas. I was above the storm and saw all that commotion going on below. I thought of how things look less scary above than they do below, yet it's all the same storm. May all the prayers give you strength to rise above the clouds.
Love ya, Di
