True Confessions

Today I will share some of my deepest confessions.

I am white and nerdy. And a Wierd Al fan. And my neighbor married an Osmond (that's Donny in the clip).

Last night my oldest participated in a talent show of sorts and the teens did a rendition of this song. I had posted this clip long ago but had to pull it out in honor of my daughter -- who got her white and nerdy-ness from me.

Hope this clip makes you giggle - one WARNING: a teeny tiny part of this clip is PG13, just FYI.

Lol, that made me laugh. My husband loves Weird Al. I LOVE mindsweeper and I totally rule! I guess I'm little white and nerdy, too. Thanks for the fun clip.

And I love White and Nerdy!!!! I hadn't seen that video in a long time- it just makes me laugh.

Glad to know I'm not the only nerd :) Honestly, I grew up on Renaissance fairs and still love them! My children's school has a Shakespeare Week where they all dress up and I'm jealous!

LOL!

Tess- thank your kids again for me. The book and letter came in the mail today. Totally made me weekend!

And the clip just makes me laugh. My daughter (7) came in and asked why Joseph was dancing in a suit. She's only seen Donny Osmond in the musical Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. I guess now I have to explain that he's been more than Joseph...

So glad you got the gift card!

Ooh - so glad we found your blog! We were sort of obsessed with your submission over at MSFV's blog. We..um..still talk about it, which could mean that we really need to get a life, or it was just really, really good.

Either way, glad that we found you!

How wonderful to have new friends here! Welcome Shelli, dellgirl (what does dellgirl mean, I wonder?) and Lisa and Laura (which everytime I see I think Captain and Tenille - wierd, I know. It also really dates me :0 )

I always love Donny, in all forms. And I haven't seen this video in a while, so this is always good for a laugh.

That's hilarious! Of course, my daughter had already seen it.

Your ward did White and nerdy? Wish I could have been there to see it!

Tess said...

Paige: yes and I really wish I could have seen your "all the single ladies" rendition..was it awesomsauce? are you glad it's over though?

Hey Tess :)

I think you and I will get along just fine--not that it means anything, but we both selected the same background for our blogs! What fun!

I look forward to working with you for Writing for Charity! Hope to meet you soon,

Juliana

Oh, and p.s. "White & Nerdy" is an all-time favorite in my house. Probably the most-requested song behind "Major Tom."

Oh. My. Gosh. That was the best laugh I've had in days. I've "heard" that song before, but hadn't caught all the words. This time my hubby and I watched it and we laughed our butts off! Three fave spots: he's fluent in java script and klingon :D, his hardest question is whether he likes Kirk or Picard best and the "holy cow, I'm white and nerdy".

Laughed. Our. Butts. Off.

Thanks Tess!

Glad you liked it Ali...I'm particularly fond of the bubble wrap scene - makes me laugh every time!

Just saw this clip you posted . . . SO FUNNY! Seeing Donny Osmond always reminds me of watching the Domny & Marie show back in the day . . . :)

I LOVE this. Heehee! I'm so white and nerdy myself. I've totally been avoiding the internet lately (I have to get some stuff done), but I had to catch up with my buddy Tess today. I'm so glad. This is a great beginning.
