I read it with a...Not yet, but I adored FEVER 1793. I read it with a summer book club a few years ago, and my girls loved it. To fully understand yellow fever, I had the girls perform the symptoms of the disease (yuck = fun when you're twelve). We'd also have races through the book, looking for quotes that showed examples of things like character growth, etc. The first person to find a quote avoided a disease symptom. The rest slowly acquired each step.
